Prop Michael Scott signs with California Legion for 2026 after a full MLR season with the Houston SaberCats. The Scottish front-rower adds international pathway experience and physical presence to the pack.

The Scottish front-rower arrives after 18 appearances with the Houston SaberCats during the 2025 Major League Rugby campaign. Scott logged three starts and 76 tackles in his first MLR season, showing durability and consistency across the year.

Before moving to the United States, Scott progressed through the Glasgow Warriors pathway system. He developed within their academy structure and competed with Ayrshire Bulls in Scotland’s Super 6 competition between 2021 and 2022.

In 2023, Scott relocated to Australia and joined Northern Suburbs in the Shute Shield. His performances earned a call-up to the NSW Waratahs as injury cover in 2024, where he made his Super Rugby debut in Round 14 against Moana Pasifika.

That experience at the Super Rugby level, combined with a full MLR campaign in 2025, gives Scott valuable exposure across multiple high-performance environments.

Now joining California Legion, Scott strengthens the prop group with size, work rate, and experience from Scotland, Australia, and the United States.
