California Legion has named its Starting XV for Round 11 of the 2026 Major League Rugby season, set to face the Seattle Seawolves on Sunday at Starfire Stadium in Tukwila, Washington. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 PM PT as Sunday Night Rugby closes out the regular season.
The stakes could not be much higher.
Both California Legion and the Seattle Seawolves have already secured their places in the Major League Rugby playoffs. Sunday's result, however, will play a major role in determining who earns the right to host a semifinal match next weekend.
Adding another layer to the matchup, there is a strong possibility these two teams will meet again in the postseason, making the regular season finale an important opportunity to gain momentum heading into the playoffs.
Jason Damm Captains the side once again, with Gonzalo Bertranou and Billy Meakes serving as Vice Captains.
There are several notable changes to the lineup this week. Ma'ake Muti returns to the Starting XV at loosehead prop, while Cyrille Cama earns his first start for California Legion after making his debut earlier this season.
Meakes returns to the starting lineup this week after being rested during Legion's dominant road victory over Anthem Rugby Carolina in Round 10.
