Legion Confirm Team For Sunday's Seawolves Showdown in LA

The third stop of the California tour of rugby brings Legion back to Los Angeles for another major test. Both teams enter the match looking for a response. Legion comes off a hard-fought loss in Chicago. Seattle also arrives following a loss. The edge is clear on both sides, with each group pushing to reset and move forward.

Jason Damm captains the side, with Gonzalo Bertranou serving as vice captain.

There is movement in the lineup this week. Alex Lopeti, Oscar Treacy, Cassh Maluia, and Jurie van Vuuren all step into the Starting XV, adding a new layer to the group heading into Sunday night.

Rookie Treacy’s will be making his MLR debut on the wing. The first-ever draft pick in California Legion history earns his first MLR cap, stepping onto the field as a highly regarded prospect out of Central Washington University.

The night also serves as Community Round, presented by Cedars Sinai. The match highlights the supporters, programs, and people who continue to grow the game across California and beyond.
